Which products help with adult acne?

Through the years I feel like I’ve tried several products and some would work for awhile and then it seemed like my skin would get use to it and it would no longer work.   But I’ve been using the same products for about 3-4 years now and it seems like I finally got it right.  One product that I used that was just ok was ProActive.  I used the old formula but I know they have enhanced it and change it up.  

Night Time Routine

Now when I get ready for bed I first use a Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towlettes to remove my makeup.  I take off foundation and eye make up with this.  

Next, I use Murad Clarifying Cleanser.  Now this stuff is what I feel is the most effective product out of everything.  It says it gets rid of 99.9% of surface bacteria and it time releases product for hours after rinsing.  LOVE THIS STUFF.  It also tingles a little.  

Then, I use the Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion.  This is a really effective toner that has Salicylic Acid in it and it also removes dirt and oil from the skin.  

After that, I use the Clinique Acne Solutions All-Over Clearing Treatment.  Once this product has cleared up your acne it is great as a preventative measure. 

Next, I use Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream.

Lastly, I use Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Treatment.  This help with cell turnover overnight and resurfacing.

Morning Routine

Now in the morning I switch out my Murad Clarifying Cleanser with Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub. I feel like my skin doesn’t get really dirty while I’m sleeping and the scrub takes off the dead skin from the Invigorating Night Treatment.

Next, I use the Clinique Acne Solutions All-Over Clearing Treatment.

Then, I use the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster.  This has Vitamin C in it and it helps with appearance of aging.

Last I use Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Lotion and this has SPF 20 in it to polish everything off.   

I guess you can say I use a lot of products but it does not take long to apply everything and I feel that every product has it’s own very necessary job.
